Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
