In a bizarre partnership that defies traditional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "A strange encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous transformations reverberate through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden group.

The questline focuses on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Additional Content

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an special katana in addition to numerous items concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
