Aircraft Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Fronds at Popular Southern California Shoreline
A chopper soaring above a well-attended coastal shoreline unexpectedly commenced twirling uncontrollably, eventually dropping height and smashing into a row of palm fronds as spectators watched.
Videos uploaded on the internet show the aircraft commencing to spiral above the shoreline then descending towards the perimeter of the shore, where it gets stuck amidst palm groves and a staircase adjacent to the coastal road.
Rescue Operation Information
Emergency responders stated five persons were rushed to the hospital including two who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the accident on the weekend.
Three individuals on the pavement were harmed. Details on their injuries were still under review.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released.

Officials indicated the aircraft was associated with an regular “Cars with Copters” fundraising event planned for the next day.
