A Pair of Suspects Formally Indicted for Inmate Homicide of Lostprophets Singer Ian Watkins
A pair of suspects stand accused of murder after the incarceration fatality of former Lostprophets singer and adjudicated child sex criminal Ian Watkins.
Rashid Gedel, 25, and Samuel Dodsworth, 43 now face murder accusations and are set to face Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, as stated by police authorities.
Watkins, forty-eight, was in the midst of a 29-year prison term at HMP Wakefield, alongside six more years under supervision, after pleading guilty to multiple sexual crimes among them the attempted rape of a baby.
Watkins was arrested after the execution of a substance-related warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a large number of computers, mobile phones and storage devices were taken as evidence.
